A dry week has definitely put stress on the corn crop. Pineappling is starting in early/mid morning to conserve moisture. Growth has slowed in the crops, the lawns and gardens. I am having to water the raised garden twice daily. We need rain here in McLean county, but there doesn't seem to be much of a chance in the coming week-just more hot, humid weather.
