Conditions are improving as the rain returns. Non-irrigated foliage - grasses, shrubs and trees - are recovering. Leaf litter under the trees is still very dry. Water has returned to most ditches and canals. Thankfully risk of fire is somewhat reduced as most people in this area will shoot off firearms and fireworks without consideration of risk or consequences.
