Condition Monitoring Report
Station Number: CO-LR-1272
Station Name: Estes Park 1.7 SW
Report Date: 7/3/2022
Submitted: 7/03/2022 10:26 AM
Scale Bar: Near Normal
Description:
Might be on the dry side of near normal, but the meadow is still green and the wildflowers are in full bloom (sulphers, gaillardia, penstemon and a few others). The chipmunks are plentiful and are foraging everywhere. Wyoming ground squirrels have started to decrease their activity. I have not seen any deer or elk in the past week. Lots of bird activity around the flower garden. The garden only needs spot watering for a few of the new plantings. A little bit of snow is visible up on Hagues Peak and Mummy Mountain from my window. We are under fire restrictions in Larimer County and in the Estes Valley as well as at Rocky Mountain National Park.
