Another disappointing week -- four "storms" which dumped lots of rain on North Texas and the southeast managed barely half an inch this far south. California washes away and we beg for rain! Spring is officially here, but the pecan trees are just getting the message, barely perceptable leaves, the last trees to do so as usual. Gardens are thriving when they have supplimental water, as the temps are rising, and we avoided any frost during the last cold spell. And the wildflowers are at their peak right here (bluebonnets, especially) -- time to take a spring drive!
