Spring rains have come and the drought conditions are in the normal range again after many months of severely dry times,  Shoal Creek is flooding in some areas this week following exceptional rains this week causing difficult situations south and east of here.  Several water rescues and loss of life situations  have occurred this week. Deer, Turkeys, Bobcats, Armadillos, Groundhogs, Skunks, Opossums are active and all have been through the yard this week.  Fire danger is lower the first time in several months. Vegetation is greening up and the Redbud and other flowering trees are beginning to bloom.
