Description:
There was very heavy rainfall the last 2 days.  The ground is extremely saturated.  Local stream flow much above average.  Pond level above average.  The lawn is extremely soft and mushy.  Grass is much greener than normal and now is beginning to grow quite rapidly in some areas.  Lawn appears to need first cutting which is about a week earlier than usual; but will be unable to cut lawn until it dries out some.  Ground is way too soft to mow lawn.  Despite the prolonged cold snap during the middle of March,  weeds are now growing rapidly as the ground warms.  According to the NWS, there is a wide area of flood advisory which encompasses our local area.  Rainfall has been considerably above normal for March as of the 25th so far by approximately 70 percent.
