For the week of 19-25 March: (3.0+ 0+ 0+ 0+ 0+ 19.5SWE/RN+ 0)= 22.0mm, Near Normal. Our daily high's: +3C to +9C; nightly low's: -4C to +2C. Every day we had wind. No SOG remaining. Although a bit cool, when the sun shines, the garden bulbs are showing their tips. There is plenty of moisture in the ground. And this morning, there were song birds tweeting, sounded amazing. The deer are taking every advantage of newly greening grass. Our neighbour had five on their large treed lawn yesterday. Pheasants are scurrying in an out of the woods. Have not seen any rabbits yet. The Geese are honking in all their glory. Got to love the sounds of Spring. People are getting out for walks more, bundled up against the wind. Hard to believe its 25 March already. Hopefully, April will bring a bit of warmth. Strong hopes for a good, long growing season for our farmers, and a fair summer for seasonal travellers. Come on down to the Bay!
