Still rather dry around here. October saw a total of 1.60” against a PRISM average of 4.73”. Visually, this doesn’t change much in that the growing season is pretty much done around here anyway. Wildlife activity appears normal. Cranberry harvest is over, with water pumped into the bogs was released back into the pond. A small amount of that water actually gets released into the Bay, but there was apparently enough pond recharge during the bog floods that pond level is actually slightly higher than it was before the harvest.
