General: We're dryer than the past 3 years, and have had less snow than the past 25 years on average. We have had 2 snows in November, which gives some optimism.
Agriculture: Again, water is everything for the dryland farming. It appears that our neighbors have planted alfalfa, and we're hoping for good snow to support it.
Energy: Our solar array produces 98% of our need, with excess stored with Idaho Power until Jan. 1. Yesterday we produced 17.18 KWH, and consumed 38.21 KWH, which reflects cloud cover, rain, and then snow. This is pretty much as expected as we go into winter.
Fire: Risk is low
Plants/wildlife: Saw a Kingfisher yesterday! Everything is going into dormancy, for sure. Below freezing at night, and winter is on the horizon.
Water: Again, optimistic without any grounds for being so! We are low going into winter, but we have received 2 snows in November so maybe out pattern is changing.
