The week started off warm last Sunday with a high of 78°, which was the high of the week, before cooling off with a storm system moving through on Tuesday and a little rain. .06 inches fell which was the total rain for the week. Afterwards, it turned colder with highs in the 50's and 60's. It also turned colder at night after the storm with lows in the 20's and 30's. The low of the week was 25° on Thursday. It was windy before the arrival of the storm and again on Saturday as another storm approached the area. The burning bush plants are deep red now and other shrubs and trees are still changing color. No change in the surrounding open areas with drying plants and grasses. Smelled a skunk early in the week and saw a couple of birds and heard geese. Did see a small lizard in the sun early in the week.
