We've had 1.20 inches out of several small systems since the last report. Good to see, but still a slower start of the rain year than the last two years.  We need at least 40 inches over the season to refill wells, so we'll see.  Lots of leaves coming down from the final trees and the native grape vines are turning flame red.  Our local raccoon mother brought her four kits up to the door yesterday -- delightful.  Fewer tourists this weekend, but they will be back for the long weekend next week.
