An incredible .24" of rain this week. Oct total only .77". Severe drought conditions have not really changed, just held steady. In the garden, the top inch is moist, but then it's completely dry down to at least 12". Streamflows still very low--lowest I've seen locally in the past 13 years. Admittedly, the drought is not so obvious because it's cold and plants are mostly dormant. Wildfires are mostly out, but USFS burning (mostly slash piles) has started so the air quality sucks.
