Station Number: IA-WR-5
Station Name: Hartford 1.0 E
Report Date: 11/3/2024
Submitted: 11/03/2024 8:42 AM
Scale Bar: Near Normal
Description:
A lot happening this past week with several records or nearly so occurring. Pushed the condition back to near normal with nearly 3.4 inches of rain the last seven days with a record rainfall on the 30th of around two inches. Record or near record warm lows occurred around mid-week as well with a temperature departure of around 30 degrees on the 29th. That helped push the departure to a bit above 11 degrees temp-wise over the last seven days. Otherwise, fall continues with a majority of the leaves down except for the oaks and some silver maples. Little animal activity seen with harvest essentially done locally. Rivers and creeks remain very low, but with some minor improvement noted as most of the rainfall has soaked into the ground. Currently light rain.
