0.19” for last week at this station, some bitter cold mornings to report and skim ice on the pond’s edges along the trail. Seeing only hawks and squirrels about but some possum tracks and raccoon tracks as well, no deer sightings though. Most woods foliage is dormant with only evergreens still showing. Keeping the bird feeders full for the critters but the baths seem to stay frozen most of the time except for late mild afternoons. Well that’s it for now, getting ready for the hard cold coming our way. Get outside when you can, stay safe and mind the weather.
