The soil is too soggy to work, and the lawn feels soft when stepped on. Lawn weeds are rapidly growing while the lawn grasses remain dormant but are starting to green up. Over the years, I’ve noticed ruts formed by mower tires developing in wetter areas of the yard. This spring, I’m determined to address these low areas by filling them in and cultivating the soil in the area.
