Fields are wet, vernal pools in the forest still relatively full.
Sugar maples are producing a higher abundance of samaras, which look like miniature curtains of Spanish moss from afar. Our bur oak will be producing flowers in profusion this year. 
Wild cherry trees are in bloom, apple trees soon to follow. Queen bumblebees and wasps are taking full advantage!
Tent caterpillars are active.
