Scale Bar: Moderately Dry
Description:
Despite over 3” of rain at the start of last week most of the state is still in some degree of drought. Gardening is easy with the soil moist and the plants love the soaking but you have to keep watt to make sure the garden is well maintained after the rains passed. Seeing some critters along the path so they’re flourishing as well. The second brood of bluebirds is being cared for in the birdhouse, 2 eggs this time when I peeked. I haven’t noticed but one hummingbird this year in the yard despite having multiple feeders out….maybe they’ll find me later! Love watching those feisty little birds vie for the feeders. Trying for a nice flower garden this year but the rabbits are completely devastating the shoots as they appear. I don’t mind it too much but I would like to have a few to enjoy flowers …!!! I’m trying for a nice bee and butterfly garden. Maybe if I explain that to the rabbits??!!! Oh well, all for now. Stay safe everyone, get outside when you can and mind the weather.
