Compared to previous years, June was a wet month.  Last week was hot, in the high 80's or 90's. My native flowers are blooming - false sunflower, bee balm, yarrow, butterfly milkweed, common milkweed.  I saw 2 monarch butterflies at Versailles State Park yesterday, haven't any seen here yet.  Strangely, the birds did not eat my blueberries this year.  Nice that I got to pick some.
