Mildly dry– 0.16 inches this week and 3.69 for month to date. No significant rain expected to end of month.  Heat wave Monday-Thursday last week and another two hot days expected this week.

Watering the garden is now required, typical for late June. Small turkey flock of 3 Hens and a Tom seen regularly and a lone hen later in day. So far not seeing any chicks. Merlin App shows lots of birds singing daily. Water levels in ponds and streams normal. Fire retention pond about 4-5 inches down top of pipe. Lawns drying after high heat beginning of week. Also drying the garden. Silage/grain corn growing well. Lots of heat expected today and Monday.
