Condition Monitoring Report
Station Number: MI-AN-25
Station Name: Plainwell 0.5 WSW
Report Date: 7/6/2025
Submitted: 7/06/2025 8:08 AM
Scale Bar: Mildly Dry
Description:
We have had between Mildly Dry and Near Normal conditions this week with 0.32" of precipitation falling over 2 days. June ended with us getting 4.02" of rain, which is 0.13" above the PRISM 30-year average. Temperatures this week were above seasonal average with daily highs in the high 80's and low 90's(F), along with uncomfortable humidity dew points. Air conditioners in the neighborhood are working overtime in this heat and humidity. The lawn grass is still mostly green; however, grass growth has slowed considerably except for rapidly growing crab-grass; and lawns in sunnier locations are starting to turn brown. Lightning bugs (firefly's) are flashing after dark. Luckily mosquitoes are still at low numbers.
