Monsoon moisture stuck around for most of the week but not a lot of rain here. On Wednesday, there were thunderstorms all around with lots of thunder and heavy rain nearby but only .10 inches fell at this location. Some smaller amounts a couple of other days but only a total of .14 inches for the week. Moisture waned some at the end of the week but didn't completely go away but no rain. It was hot to begin and end the week with a bit of a cool down with the rain mid week. The high of the week was 93° last Sunday. The low of the week was 49° also last Sunday with lows in the 50's for the rest of the week. Some windy weather with storms in the area but otherwise, not much wind. No change to the surrounding wildland areas with some green plants and lots of dry grasses and other plants. Saw the robin in the bird bath and finches and hummingbirds in the garden. Also, saw a garter snake in the yard and a ground squirrel next door.
