Station Name: Byers 8.1 SSE

Taken at registered location: True
Notes: 3 Funnel clouds to the SSW & S between 14:00 & 14:30 with rain starting about 15:00. Hail started several minutes after the rain started & was mixed with rain. Hail was intermitant. With the sound of the hail against the house windows we feared the tomatoes would be shredded, though not the case. Majority hail was soft-slushy, & the wind was blowing the hail at a good angle out of the west. No accumilation of hail on the ground expect againt the west side of structures & even that melted too quickly in the rain to obtain depth or samples.
