Notes: Revised notes based upon Friday's evaluation of Thursday's hail pad: I could see pea-sized hail in the air, but the sharp indentations were all rice sized, indicating that the stones had a hard rice sized core covered by a pea sized, softer mantle which made soft indentations with sharp indentations in their centers.
