Severe thunderstorm hit my station at Westmont 1.1W at 3:30pm. Here the hail was at least dime-sized (5/8") and moderate to large hail also fell in the SE parts of town, with a report of up to golf ball sized hail in the Richland Township area. Also street flooding, wind damage and power outages were common all over Johnstown. This storm was very intense and rivaled the April 16th severe storm (which was also associated with hail and damaging winds). |
