Hail Report Information
Station Number: WV-BY-1
Station Name: Bunker Hill 0.8 WNW
Date: 3/29/2009 3:45 PM
Submitted 3/30/2009 7:18 AM
Taken at registered location: True
Notes: Average accumulation: trace. However, rain and wind pushed hail into piles, some of which survived for more than an hour -- despite post-storm temperatures in the 50's. If this had been a summer storm (when there would have been leaves on the trees), I suspect there would have been minor leaf damage.
