Hail Report Information
Station Number: CO-LR-903
Station Name: Fort Collins 2.7 SSE
Date: 6/28/2013 8:00 PM
Submitted 6/28/2013 11:07 PM
Taken at registered location: True
Notes: There is more damage from wind than hail. I wish we had an anemometer as winds I would guess were in excess of 50 mph at their peak, strong enough to down small branches. The hail was a mix of white ice and clear ice. Most of it was pea sized and honestly not large or hard enough to hurt when being hit. Unfortunately we did not have a hail pad.
