The hail just ROARED for about 20 seconds and then it was over. The intensity was surprising. There was accumulation of hail around rocks and clumps of grass. Barely accumulated on level smooth ground. ABQ Radar showed an organized line of thunderstorms headed towards us fairly quickly. That does not happen very often out here. Either big blobs on the radar or isolated cells during the monsoon. |
