Station Name: Denver 2.4 S
Date: 6/9/2005 5:05 PM
Submitted 6/09/2005 4:51 PM
Taken at registered location: True
Notes: Hail 0.5" deep in mid-grassy areas, piled 2+" high at sidewalk edges. Rain started during hail and became very heavy. I had both a complete gauge out and an outer cyliner. Accumulation with funnel was 0.26" in complete gauge and 0.41" in outer cyclinder (open) for entire storm (25-30 min). Outer cylinder had just a few hail lellets left when collected, none in funnel. Did not look at cars - unknown about dents.
