Notes: Location: 2.6 miles South of Dublin, Ohio. Wow, did not expect to see hail at this time of year, I've been facinated with seeing hail ever since a hailstorm impacted my area on 3/18/2012 bringing quarter size hail and I remember it bouncing 5 feet off the ground. Haven't seen anything close to that, as this is just the second time I've witnessed hail since (pea size on 7/10/2017, same location as listed above) Rice size hail this time, lasting for just 15 seconds according to a video I took at exactly 5:00 pm. The biggest hailstones were 1/8 inch, and that was just 3 or 4. There were a lot more tiny hailstones, though, average and smallest just 1/16 inch, smaller than rice size. Angle is estimated based on my video, winds got very wild at the time of the hail. The video also shows the micro stones bounce up from ground impact. Each stone estimated to be around 1 inch around part from another. That's all, a nice, pleasant surprise to the day and looking forward to the next thunderstorm, haha.
