Notes: |
At 1:26pm a big BLACK cloud was moving from NW to NE and directly over my house. at 1:30pm lots of distant thunder started. at 1:27 big, sparse rain drops for a few seconds, then hail started. at first it was all rice size and sparse and about 8 inches in between hail pieces. at 1:30 it got heavy rain and more hail, which was was 1/4" in size. it was 2" apart then,(clear space between). at 1:34pm it all stopped. A very few rain drops and hail still hit the ground, but was almost undetectable. it melted very quickly. (at 12 noon it was 79 degrees, but eased into the low 80s). |
