The hail occurred while we were away between 6/14 and 7/01. The rain gauge had 0.14 inches of precip when I observed it about 8:00 PM on 7/30. It was full of pine pollen. The most likely time and date of the hail was on 6/24 when precip was widespread. I left the hail pad (which had been in place since 6/14/2015) on the hail pad until 8 AM on 7/1, when another storm caused me to replace it to catch a second event. |
