Hail would come in waves, then slow down, then restart again. When lightening hit the silo, the hail and rain would subside, then start again, then lightening again hit the silo and it would subside.
Degaussing is a good thing.
the storm then slowly moved to the southeast and hung over Elbert and Peyton area for another hour or so, with heavy cloud to cloud lightening and somewhat lesser cloud to ground lightening.
