No hail pad!! It was continuous hail for 16 minutes! I have hail covering the ground. Once it started hailing the rain stopped and didn't start again...
It's hard to estimate average size because it is extremely variable, probably even amounts from pea size to nickel size with several at quarter size. and all of these sizes fell at the same time after the initial 1 or 2 minutes. |
